This post is dedicated to helping you identify the type of skin you have.I am basing these skin types off of a professional scale called the FITZ PATRIC SCALE.The Fitzpatrick Classification Scale was developed in 1975 by Harvard Medical School dermatologist, Thomas Fitzpatrick, MD, PhD. This scale classifies a person’s complexion and their tolerance of sunlight. When i was in school to become an esthetician this is the scale they taught us ,so yes it is a professional scale and not made up . Enjoy!
